We are a growing Orange County architecture firm seeking a motivated Architectural Designer / Project Architect to join our team full-time. This position is ideal for someone with at least two years of professional architecture experience who is highly proficient in 2D drafting and 3D modeling and enjoys working in a collaborative, hands-on environment. Responsibilities Prepare and develop architectural drawings and construction documents Produce accurate 2D drawings using AutoCAD Create and update 3D models and presentations using SketchUp Assist with residential project design and development Coordinate drawing revisions throughout various phases of a project Work closely with architects, consultants, contractors, and other team members Help maintain project organization, drawing standards, and deadlines Participate in project meetings and design coordination as needed Qualifications Minimum 2 years of professional architecture experience Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D drafting Strong proficiency in SketchUp Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Strong written and verbal professional English communication skills Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a small team Residential architecture experience is preferred Architecture degree preferred Architectural license is not required Compensation & Schedule Starting salary: $75,000 annually Full-time position Hybrid schedule: 4 days per week in the office and 1 day working remotely Retirement plan with employer matching contribution available subject to a 2-year vesting period Health, dental, and vision benefits are not currently offered We are looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, eager to grow, and interested in becoming an integral part of a collaborative architecture practice.
