80-120K/year Schedule & Shift On-site, Full-Time Job Overview We are seeking a Licensed Project Architect to join a dynamic architecture team in Coral Gables, FL. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for a licensed architect who thrives in leading technical production and mentoring junior staff while delivering high-quality commercial and institutional projects from concept through construction. The successful candidate will work closely with firm leadership, oversee multidisciplinary project teams, maintain quality standards, and ensure projects are delivered on schedule and in compliance with applicable codes and regulations. Primary Job Responsibilities Lead the production of architectural drawings, construction documents, and technical specifications for permit and construction Coordinate architectural, structural, MEP, and consultant disciplines to ensure technical accuracy and design integrity Participate in conceptual design, design development, and technical problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle Develop comprehensive construction documentation while maintaining firm drafting and documentation standards Perform quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) reviews to ensure project accuracy and consistency Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, ADA requirements, permitting regulations, and constructability standards Participate in construction administration activities, including RFIs, submittals, site observations, punch lists, and consultant coordination Mentor and supervise junior architects, designers, and technical staff Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams to deliver successful project outcomes Monitor project schedules, budgets, and technical deliverables while reporting project progress to firm leadership Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture Active U.S. Architectural License (Required) Minimum 10 years of architectural experience in both design and technical production Strong experience producing construction documents from concept through construction administration Thorough knowledge of building systems, detailing, constructability, permitting, and building codes Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and project coordination skills Ability to work independently while leading multidisciplinary project teams LEED Accredited Professional (Preferred) Experience with a leading U.S. or international architecture firm Experience mentoring junior architects and technical staff Commercial, institutional, healthcare, mixed-use, hospitality, or higher education project experience
