Job description: About us PLI Builders LLC is a Design/Build firm in Plainview, NY. Our goal is to Provide the client with a one stop shop for their construction project. Through our in house services, we are able to offer exceptional customer service and communication which keeps the projects moving quickly and the clients very happy.
  • Overview:
  • We are seeking a talented Residential Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in architectural design and possess a strong skill set in various software applications. This is an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects and contribute to the creation of innovative architectural designs.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Design and oversee the construction of building projects from conception to completion
  • Utilize software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Chief Architect, and AutoCAD for drafting and modeling
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop design solutions
  • Manage project scheduling, budgeting, and construction management
  • Renovate existing structures while adhering to building codes and regulations
  • Prepare and present design proposals to clients for approval
  • Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals involved in the project
  • Oversee the implementation of architectural plans during the construction phase
  • Ensure projects are completed within specified timeframes and budget constraints
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Chief Architect, AutoCAD
  • Strong project scheduling abilities
  • Knowledge of construction management principles
  • Experience with contract negotiation and budgeting
