About the Role As a Field Service Industrial Boiler Technician, you will serve as a critical technical expert responsible for the maintenance, repair, and operational integrity of industrial heating systems. You will drive system reliability by performing expert-level welding and troubleshooting, ensuring that our clients' critical infrastructure operates at peak efficiency. Responsibilities Execute high-pressure ASME code welding projects to restore and maintain structural integrity of boiler systems. Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical failures to minimize client downtime. Perform precision combustion tuning and controls calibration to optimize fuel efficiency and system performance. Lead on-site service initiatives, providing technical guidance and ensuring all repairs meet rigorous safety and quality standards. Conduct comprehensive preventive maintenance to extend the lifecycle of watertube and firetube equipment. Manage emergency service calls, delivering rapid response solutions to maintain continuous facility operations. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Proven ability to pass an ASME certified 6G welding test. Solid foundation in mechanical systems and industrial pipefitting. Capacity to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting 50+ lbs and working in confined or elevated spaces. Flexibility to travel for project-based work and support emergency on-call rotations. Preferred Skills Prior professional experience as a Boilermaker or industrial service technician. Demonstrated aptitude for learning advanced boiler control systems and instrumentation. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on field-based troubleshooting.
