Milford, NJ Job Details Part-time | Full-time $28.80 - $34.68 an hour 2 days ago Benefits Paid training Paid time off On-the-job training Flexible schedule Tools provided Qualifications Maintaining an organized workspace Cast-in-place concrete structures Outdoor work experience Patio construction projects Building construction Sidewalk paving Wall construction projects Stucco Clean workspace maintenance Crew management Full Job Description Mason — Requirements Must have hands-on experience with: Building and rebuilding front stoops, porches and steps Concrete block construction, including CMU walls, steps and foundations Installing brick and natural stone Installing thin stone veneer and cultured stone Stucco application on foundations, walls, porch risers and sides Installing bluestone, limestone and other natural-stone treads Building stone veneer fireplaces and fireplace surrounds Building retaining walls Paver patios, walkways and sidewalks Proper preparation and installation of concrete patios, sidewalks and driveways Setting and installing masonry caps, coping and treads Removing and rebuilding deteriorated masonry Reading measurements and laying out projects accurately Understanding proper footings, drainage, base preparation, reinforcement and mortar installation Working with different masonry materials and being able to produce a clean, professional finish Ability to work independently and lead a project or small crew when needed Ability to troubleshoot job-site conditions and make sound construction decisions Must maintain a clean, safe and organized job site Must be reliable, punctual and take pride in workmanship Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Must be physically capable of lifting and handling masonry materials Strongly preferred: 5+ years of masonry experience Experience with hardscape installation Experience with Cambridge, Techo-Bloc or similar paver/wall systems Experience with aluminum handrail installation Experience working on residential remodeling and new construction Ability to communicate professionally with homeowners Ability to train and work with less-experienced masons/laborers Most important: We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail and understands that quality workmanship is what builds a company's reputation.

Pay:
