Job Overview:

Duties:

• Lay CMU, bricks, stones, and other materials to build or repair walls, chimneys, fireplaces, and other structures
• Use power tools and hand tools to cut and shape bricks and stones
• Mix mortar or grout according to specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, or drawings to determine layout and dimensions
• Ensure structures are level and plumb using levels, plumb bobs, or straightedges
• Repair or restore existing masonry structures
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Brick/Block Mason
• Strong knowledge of power tools used in masonry work
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, or drawings
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
