Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mason Laborer to join our construction team. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including setting up scaffolding, mixing mortar, and organizing materials for masonry work Support masons in laying bricks, blocks, stone, and other masonry units according to blueprints and technical drawings Help with concrete forming, pouring, finishing, and curing processes to ensure smooth surfaces and structural integrity Participate in rebar installation, ensuring reinforcement is properly placed for durability and safety Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and scaffolding safely and efficiently under supervision Follow safety protocols rigorously to maintain a secure work environment on active construction sites Interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprints to assist with building material installation and renovation projects Qualifications Previous construction experience or background in masonry-related tasks is preferred and required; training will not be provided for motivated candidates Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and basic carpentry skills such as framing or drywall installation is advantageous Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and technical drawings enhances your ability to contribute effectively Experience with concrete finishing, plastering, stucco application, tile laying, or stone masonry is a plus Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence and ability to work at heights on scaffolding or ladders Excellent teamwork skills combined with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately Willingness to learn new skills such as metal stud framing, welding, or roof repair as needed Join us in building durable structures while advancing your career in the construction industry!
