In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of projects, including but not limited to chimney & fireplace repair, wall construction, foundation repair, and general masonry restoration. The ideal candidate is ambitious, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high safety standards while delivering quality craftsmanship. No experience required. Responsibilities Interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute projects. Installation of wood burning and gas fireplace systems. Bricklaying, stone masonry, repointing, and lintel replacement. Installation of chimney lining systems. Build scaffold to safely access elevated work areas. Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment. Assist in moving material on site into proper location. Assist in prepping material for application (mortar, concrete, etc). Collaborate with customers and fellow contractors to complete projects in a satisfactory manner. Skills Experience in masonry field or a strong understanding of basic masonry construction preferred. Proficiency in construction estimating and interpreting technical drawings or blueprints. Knowledge of fireplace & venting systems preferred. Comfortable working from heights more than one story. Comfortable lifting heavy objects (100lbs +) Comfortable working outside Familiarity with safety proceeder related to construction operations. Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail to ensure high-quality craftsmanship across all projects. We are a small company, who has rapidly outgrown our manpower. We are looking for the right individual to help take us to the next level, and continue to develop into a major presence within the Pittsburgh Area. This is an excellent opportunity to get in at the ground floor, regardless of experience. We are willing to train anyone with the right ambition and willingness to learn new skills. Pay will be based on experience. $1,000 sign-on bonus following 90 days of employment. Must have valid PA Drivers license.
