Job Summary Job title: Deck & Porch Carpenters - Helper, Carpenter, and Lead Carpenter Klein Family Construction | Birmingham, AL | Full-time, W-2 employees About us Klein Family Construction builds high-end composite decks and porches across the Birmingham area. We're a growing, family-owned business, and we're adding to our crew. We're hiring at three levels Helper - $17-20/hr Great for someone starting out in the trades. Show up on time, work hard, and we'll teach you how to build decks and porches the right way. Carpenter - $22-27/hr You have deck, framing, or finish carpentry experience and can run a phase of a job, from footings and framing to decking and railing, with minimal supervision. Lead Carpenter - $60-70k salary + performance bonus You've run or co-run a crew. You'll lead our crew in the field, keep jobs on schedule, train others, and be the main on-site contact for homeowners. This is a long-term leadership role.
