Job Description

Job Summary The ideal candidate is a well-rounded craftsman capable of taking a project from foundational framing to high-end finish work and a minimum of 3 years of verifiable Carpentry experience in the last 5 years. Applicants must past drug screen and background check if offered a position. Key Responsibilities Rough Carpentry (Structural Foundations)
  • Construct and install structural frameworks, including wall studs, floor joists, rafters, and roof trusses.
  • Build and erect temporary structures, concrete forms, scaffolding, and bracing.
  • Verify trueness of structures using plumb bobs, levels, lasers, and squares. Finish Carpentry (Installations & Fixtures)
  • Install exterior and interior doors, window frames, and hardware with exact alignment.
  • Hang drywall, install subflooring, and lay hardwood, laminate, or engineered flooring.
  • Fit and secure prefabricated cabinetry, countertops, shelving, and built-in units. Trim Carpentry (Aesthetic Finishing)
  • Measure, miter-cut, and install intricate trim, including crown molding, baseboards, wainscoting, and chair rails.
  • Ensure all joints, seams, and corners are tight, flush, and ready for paint or stain.
  • Perform high-end custom woodworking repairs and modifications as required by clients. General Duties & Safety
  • Read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and technical sketches.
  • Select, measure, cut, and shape wood, composite, and other building materials.
  • Maintain, clean, and safely operate all hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery.
  • Follow all OSHA guidelines, local building codes, and company safety protocols. Qualifications and Requirements
Experience:
Proven recent (at least 3 years in the last 5 years) experience as a carpenter, with a strong, verifiable portfolio in rough, finish, and trim work.
    Education:
    High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a formal carpentry apprenticeship or trade school program is highly preferred.
      Technical Skills:
      Advanced proficiency with miter saws, table saws, routers, nail guns, and precision measuring layout tools.
        Mathematics:
        Strong math skills for accurately calculating angles, pitches, and material dimensions.
          Physical Demands:
          Ability to lift in excess of 50 lbs, stand for long shifts, climb ladders, and work comfortably in varied weather conditions.
            Soft Skills:
            Excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative team mindset.
            Pay:
            $18.00 - $30.20 per hour
