What You Will Do:

Build Skids:

Builds skids and pallets according to Majestic Steel and/or customer specifications, operate lift trucks to transport, store, and stage materials within the service center

Maintain Safety:

Perform daily lift truck inspections, move up and down from lift truck, and report any equipment issues

Support Team Efforts:

Work collaboratively with team to meet goals, contribute to housekeeping procedures, and complete additional job-related responsibilities as assigned

Who We Are Looking For:

Experience:

Experience with hand tools, including up-cut saw & circular saw

Skills:

Strong attention to detail, ability to follow processes & procedures, and effective communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds, mount & dismount equipment, capable of walking, climbing and bending for periods of time, and be comfortable working in hot and cold atmospheres depending on weather conditions. Must be able to work outside normal business hours/days as needed.

Safety Requirements:

Follow all established safety procedures, operate tools and equipment safely, and wear company-provided personal protective equipment (PPE), including a full-face protective shield when performing skid-building duties involving nail guns and other designated equipment.
