Responsibilities Measure and interpret technical drawings and construction plans to accurately execute roofing and siding projects. Install various roofing systems including single-ply membrane roofing, metal roofing, and tile laying with precision and attention to detail. Perform roofing repairs and maintenance, ensuring all work complies with safety protocols and industry standards. Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and safety harnesses effectively while maintaining strict adherence to construction workplace safety regulations. Assist with siding installation, stucco application, caulking, trim carpentry, and metal stud framing as needed for remodeling projects. Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely across outdoor work sites while managing physical demands efficiently. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to guide construction activities accurately on-site. Qualifications Proven construction experience with a focus on roofing, siding installation, or remodeling projects. Familiarity with construction estimating processes and reading technical drawings or plans. Knowledge of construction safety harnesses, ladder use, heavy lifting techniques, and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations related to construction workplace safety. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, tile cutters, and other relevant equipment for roofing and carpentry tasks. Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions with outdoor work experience preferred. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications for roofing systems such as single-ply membrane or metal roofing. Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols including proper use of fall protection gear like safety harnesses. Additional skills such as metal roofing installation, stucco application, tile laying, or siding installation are highly desirable.
