Laferriere Builders LLC is hiring a hands-on carpenter for residential additions, remodels and decks. We focus on quality workmanship and clean, precise finishes, and we're looking for someone who shares that attention to detail. The ideal candidate can complete assigned carpentry work independently, from accurate layout and installation through the finishing details. This is a working carpenter position alongside our crew, not a project-management role. Our work includes framing, trim, doors, windows, decks and general renovations. What we're looking for: Residential carpentry and remodeling experience Ability to complete assigned tasks independently with minimal supervision Experience with framing, trim, doors, windows, decking, and general renovations Ability to read measurements, follow plans, and problem-solve on the job Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Ability to work both independently and alongside a small crew Reliable transportation We offer steady work, a variety of projects, and the opportunity to grow with an established local company. Pay is $22-$35 per hour, based on demonstrated skills and experience. The upper end of the range is for experienced carpenters who can consistently handle work independently. We're also willing to train a dependable person with less experience, with starting pay at $22 per hour. Please include the types of work you've done and which tasks you're comfortable completing on your own. Laferriere Builders LLC | Harwinton, CT |
