About Timber & Brush Timber & Brush is a Connecticut shoreline wood restoration company built on three generations of carpentry. We restore what other companies tear out, including trim, porches, railings, columns, sills, siding, and decks on some of the finest homes along the shoreline. We're looking for an experienced carpenter who takes pride in craftsmanship and wants to do the job right, not just fast. What you'll do Repair and replace rotted trim, fascia, sills, columns, siding, and porch and deck components. Match existing profiles and millwork so repairs blend seamlessly with the original structure. Build and repair stairs, railings, porches, and decks. Plan repairs carefully, maintain a clean work area, and treat every home with care. What we're looking for At least 5 years of professional carpentry experience in finish carpentry, exterior trim, or restoration. Your own hand and power tools. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Comfort working on ladders and staging. Additional experience we value Older or historic home restoration. Table saw, router, or shaper work for matching profiles. Epoxy wood repair or painting experience. What we offer $32-$45 per hour, depending on experience. Steady, year-round work in Madison, Guilford, Branford, and surrounding shoreline communities. No mandatory weekends. Opportunities to grow within a family of local companies.
