This dual-role position offers the opportunity to work on diverse tasks, from framing and trim carpentry to operating plow trucks for winter storm management. The ideal candidate will be proactive, safety-conscious, and possess a strong background in carpentry and construction site work. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality craftsmanship while ensuring efficient snow removal during winter months. Responsibilities Operate plow trucks safely and efficiently to clear snow from designated parking lots, adhering to all safety protocols and traffic regulations. Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute framing, drywall installation, door hanging, and fixture installation accurately. Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, and other construction tasks. Measure spaces precisely for remodeling projects, including drywall finishing, caulking, plastering, mold remediation, and woodwork refinishing. Assist with heavy lifting of construction materials such as wood construction materials, drywall sheets, and flooring components. Follow power tool safety guidelines while operating woodworking machines and power tools for woodworking projects. Interpret construction plans and technical drawings to ensure all work aligns with project specifications; collaborate with team members on remodeling or renovation projects. Maintain a clean and organized job site by properly storing tools and materials; ensure compliance with safety standards at all times. Perform handyman tasks such as fixture installation, door hanging, caulking, stucco work, and minor repairs as needed. Experience Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings. Extensive background in residential carpentry including trim carpentry, door hanging, drywall finishing, flooring installation, tile laying, and remodeling projects. Hands-on experience operating heavy machinery such as woodworking machines and power tools for various construction applications. Knowledge of construction site safety protocols related to power tool use and general site operations. Prior experience operating plow trucks or similar vehicles for snow removal is highly preferred. Familiarity with metal stud framing techniques, plastering processes, and fixture installation is a plus.
