Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Deck Framing Carpenter to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing deck frameworks . The ideal candidate will possess strong carpentry skills, experience with framing techniques, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints and interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprints specific to deck framing projects Measure, cut, assemble, and install framing components using hand tools and power tools Ensure accurate dimensional measurements for framing elements such as beams, joists, and supports Perform heavy lifting of materials and framing components safely and efficiently Inspect completed work for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications Support team efforts in remodeling or restoration projects involving deck structures Requirements Proven experience in frame carpentry with a focus on deck framing or related construction work Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and other carpentry equipment Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations
