In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing concrete structures and components on various construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in concrete work, including formwork, pouring, finishing, and reinforcement installation. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality infrastructure development while adhering to safety standards and project specifications. The successful applicant will demonstrate proficiency in working with construction plans, technical drawings, and a variety of hand and power tools.

Responsibilities Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to accurately execute concrete projects.

MUST HAVE CARPENTER TOOLS

Construct formwork and molds using carpentry skills to shape concrete structures according to specifications. Install rebar reinforcement ensuring proper placement for structural integrity. Operate concrete mixers, pumps, and cutting tools safely and efficiently during pouring and finishing processes. Pour, spread, level, and finish concrete surfaces with precision to achieve smooth finishes. Adhere strictly to construction workplace safety regulations and safety protocols at all times. Use hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling concrete components. Perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment necessary for large-scale concrete work. Conduct masonry tasks such as plastering and flooring installation as required. Maintain a clean work environment and ensure all tools and materials are properly stored after use. Experience Proven experience working on construction projects involving concrete installation, formwork construction, or related masonry work. Demonstrated knowledge of construction estimating processes related to concrete projects. Familiarity with blueprint reading, interpretation of technical drawings, and specification adherence. Hands-on experience with rebar installation, concrete pouring, finishing techniques, and concrete cutting. Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations specific to concrete work environments. Ability to operate power tools such as mixers, saws, drills, and other relevant equipment safely. Experience working with heavy machinery including concrete pumps or mixers is preferred. Background in carpentry or masonry is advantageous for understanding formwork construction. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting tasks combined with attention to detail in finishing work.
