Job Description

Job Summary As a Carpenter, you'll build, install, repair, and finish structures and components across construction, remodeling, and restoration projects. You'll use construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to guide accurate work, coordinate tasks with the site team, and help keep each job moving safely and efficiently. This hands-on role suits someone who enjoys solving practical problems and producing quality work from the first measurement through the final finish. Duties Read blueprints, construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings; take dimensional measurements and calculate material needs. Build and install framing, metal studs, trim, siding, roofing, drywall, and other wood or building components. Support metal building erection, concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete finishing, masonry, plastering, and stucco work as project needs require. Operate hand and power tools, and use heavy equipment when qualified and assigned; follow site safety procedures while lifting and handling materials.
Your impact:
Accurate layout and careful installation help project teams deliver safe, durable spaces for the people who use them. Skills Carpentry, frame carpentry, trim carpentry, woodworking, and construction site or general construction experience are valuable. Ability to read blueprints and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings; proficiency with a tape measure and basic math. Familiarity with metal stud framing, concrete work, masonry, welding, roofing, drywall, siding, stucco, remodeling, or restoration is useful. Comfortable using hand and power tools and performing heavy lifting; heavy equipment operation experience is an asset. Construction management knowledge is preferred; candidates may bring a mix of these skills, with relevant hands-on experience especially helpful.
