Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to residential and commercial projects by performing a variety of carpentry and labor tasks. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with experienced craftsmen to deliver high-quality craftsmanship while maintaining safety standards on-site. This paid position provides valuable hands-on experience in construction, woodworking, and restoration industries, making it an excellent stepping stone for those passionate about building and renovation. Responsibilities Assist with construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings to support project planning and execution Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking, framing, trim carpentry, siding, fixture installation, and door hanging Operate woodworking machines safely to cut, shape, and assemble wood construction materials for various projects Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for rebar installation, plastering, stucco application, water damage restoration, mold remediation, and demolition work Install or repair siding, doors, windows, moldings, and other fixtures according to construction plans and specifications Support restoration projects by handling tasks such as caulking, tile laying, water damage repair, and reinstallation of building components Follow all safety protocols related to power tool use, including power tool safety procedures and proper handling of woodworking equipment Skills Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in woodworking and carpentry tasks Experience with residential carpentry including trim work, door hanging, siding installation, and fixture mounting Ability to operate woodworking machines safely and efficiently in compliance with safety standards Familiarity with construction site procedures such as heavy lifting, rebar installation, plastering, stucco application, mold remediation and water damage restoration Knowledge of construction plans and ability to follow detailed instructions accurately Prior experience in the restoration industry or remodeling projects is a plus Excellent physical stamina for demanding tasks like heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking Join our team today to build a rewarding career where your skills make a real difference!
