Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of carpentry tasks, from framing and trim work. Your expertise will help bring construction plans to life, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your technical skills and construction experience to build durable, functional structures that meet client specifications. Duties Interpret and follow detailed construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise execution of projects. Construct, install, repair, and maintain structures such as walls, roofs, floors, doors, windows, and custom trim using various hand tools and power tools. Read construction schematics accurately and measure dimensions with tape measures and other tools to ensure proper fit and alignment. Collaborate with construction management teams to interpret technical drawings and ensure project specifications are met efficiently. Assist in remodeling, restoration projects, or site upgrades by applying carpentry skills in diverse environments. Maintain safety protocols on-site by adhering to OSHA standards while performing heavy lifting or working at heights. Requirements Proven experience in construction or carpentry with a strong background in framing, trim, flooring , and drywall installation. Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, dimensional measurements, and basic math skills for precise work calculations. Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels; power tools including drills and saws; as well as heavy equipment operation when necessary. Strong attention to detail with excellent craftsmanship in trim carpentry and woodworking projects. Valid driver's license preferred; certification in OSHA safety standards is a plus.
