Put your renovation experience to work leading a crew. Fast Track Renovations is looking for skilled, dependable Renovation Team Leads / Working Foremen to help lead our residential renovation projects. You will work alongside a small crew, handle skilled renovation work, organize daily tasks, and help less-experienced employees become capable, productive team members. You will work directly with ownership to turn the project scope into a finished home everyone can be proud of. Our Projects and Typical Scope Our work includes full-home residential renovations and investor rehab projects. A typical project targets completion within 45-60 days , depending on its size and scope, with a 3-4-person crew handling much of the renovation work.

Typical work includes:

Property cleanouts, demolition, and debris removal. Framing and general carpentry. Drywall installation, repairs, and finishing. Kitchen cabinet and vanity installation. Flooring and tile installation. Interior and exterior painting. Interior doors, baseboards, casing, and trim carpentry. Final repairs, touch-ups, punch lists, and cleanup. HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and occasional specialty work are handled by subcontractors. You will help coordinate jobsite readiness and the sequence of work so those trades can complete their portions efficiently. Your Typical Responsibilities Lead while working alongside the crew. Perform skilled renovation tasks, demonstrate proper methods, and set the standard for workmanship, productivity, and professionalism. Plan the daily and weekly workload. Review the scope and schedule with ownership, establish priorities, and give each crew member clear assignments. Keep the project moving toward its completion date. Track progress against weekly milestones, recognize potential delays early, and communicate what is needed to stay on schedule. Manage the crew's time effectively. Match assignments to each person's abilities, keep workers productive, and organize tasks to reduce avoidable downtime. Look ahead on materials and tools. Identify upcoming needs and communicate them before they interrupt production. Check quality throughout the job. Verify measurements, installation details, and finished work before moving to the next phase. Address mistakes promptly and help prevent repeat issues. Communicate clearly with ownership. Provide progress updates and photos, report concealed damage or scope questions, and flag schedule or budget concerns early. Maintain a safe, organized jobsite. Set expectations for tool use, housekeeping, material storage, and protecting completed work. Follow through on the details. Lead punch-list work, touch-ups, and final cleanup to deliver a completed project ready for turnover. Train and Develop Your Crew Developing laborers into skilled renovation workers is a core part of this position. We want a lead who can get work done today while helping the crew become more capable for the next project.

You will be expected to:

Teach proper tool use, accurate measuring, safe work practices, and the methods behind quality installation. Demonstrate unfamiliar tasks, supervise initial attempts, and provide clear, respectful feedback. Help laborers progress from cleanouts and basic demolition into more skilled work such as painting, drywall repairs, flooring, and trim as they demonstrate readiness. Explain the expected result before work begins and check that employees understand their assignments. Build accountability while creating an environment where workers can ask questions and learn. Keep ownership informed about each employee's strengths, training needs, and readiness for additional responsibility. A successful lead helps employees complete more work independently, improves consistency, and reduces avoidable mistakes and rework. Qualifications Proven hands-on experience in residential remodeling, renovations, or closely related construction work. Strong practical skills across several of the trades listed above, with the ability to complete common renovation tasks independently. Experience leading a crew, training helpers, or serving as a lead carpenter or working foreman is preferred. Ability to read project scopes and basic layouts, take accurate measurements, estimate material needs, and plan the order of work. Good judgment when solving jobsite problems and recognizing when a question needs to be brought to ownership or a specialty trade. Reliable transportation to assigned project sites and dependable attendance. Clear communication, a professional attitude, and the patience to teach while holding the crew accountable. Pay:
