In this role, you will be instrumental in transforming outdoor spaces by constructing, repairing, and restoring trail systems, ensuring safety, durability, and aesthetic appeal. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors on diverse projects that enhance community recreation areas, parks, and natural landscapes. Paid positions are available for both entry-level and experienced candidates eager to contribute to meaningful outdoor construction initiatives. Responsibilities Assist in the construction, installation, and repair of trail systems, including grading, drainage, and surface preparation Use hand tools and power tools for tasks such as cutting, framing, trimming, and decking installation for bridge and boardwalk installation/replacement Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to ensure accurate project execution Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in carpentry and general construction work is preferred; mandatory for carpenter positions Strong outdoor work experience with a focus on safety protocol adherence Experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators or loaders is advantageous Excellent teamwork skills combined with the ability to follow detailed instructions from project plans or supervisors Valid driving liscense and abiltity to pull a trailer is preferred Training is available for entry level positions for those with little construction experience Ability to lift and carry 60 pounds We work all over the metro Atlanta area, but also have opportunities for travel crews for those who are interested and would prefer to earn more. These are all full time positions, and are outdoor construction positions that can be affected by the weather, but 40 hours is typical. We construct and repair natural surface trails, build bridges and boardwalks, and do all sorts of work necessary to build and improve parks and natural areas. This may include mountain bike trails, hiking trails, greenways and even equestrian or ATV trails at times.

Pay:

$16.00 - $30.00 per hour
