Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking Carpenters to hire at awarehouse located in Norcross! The ideal candidate should bedependable, have reliable transportation, available to work full time, maintain a positive attitude, works well under pressure, is coachable, and adapts to changing priorities. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented team member with previous craftsmanship and door machining experience. Candidates should be proficient in using hand routers, hand tools, and skill saws, and must be able to accurately read a tape measure. A strong understanding of proper door machining techniques and a commitment to producing quality work are essential.

Pay Rate :

$18.00/hour Requirements for

Carpenters:

After meeting all of PPS' standard qualifications, Candidate must meet below qualifications: Prior carpentry/millwork/construction experience is required. Extensive knowledge of standard measurements and tape dimensions. Must be able to work in an environment where tasks change as varying models of product are produced. Willingness to work overtime when needed. Ability to read/comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide Ability to read tape measure. Must be willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities of Carpenters:

Selecting appropriate materials based on the design and functionality needs. Operating routers, hand tools and skill saws to cut, shape, and assemble pieces. Finishing pieces by sanding and hardware. Assisting with general warehouse duties and supporting other departments as needed. Consistently adhere to safe work practices, follow company safety procedures, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Shift Details:

1st Shift Available! 1st: Monday-Friday - 7:00AM-4:30
