In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of carpentry tasks with precision and craftsmanship, ensuring that all projects meet quality standards and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in residential and commercial carpentry, with expertise in interpreting technical drawings, working with various woodworking materials, and utilizing both hand and power tools effectively. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse projects, from framing and drywall installation to cabinetry and restoration work, all while maintaining a focus on safety and efficiency. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project requirements. Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood framing, siding, drywall, flooring, cabinetry, doors, windows, and other fixtures with precision. Operate hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels, and levels as well as power tools including drills, saws, sanders, and CNC machines for woodworking tasks. Ensure adherence to safety protocols related to power tool operation, heavy lifting, scaffolding use, and construction site safety standards. Perform demolition work when necessary for remodeling or restoration projects; handle tasks such as plastering, stucco application, rebar installation, or concrete forming. Assist in the fabrication of custom woodwork or fixtures using woodworking machines; contribute to the assembly process on-site or in manufacturing settings. Complete quality inspections throughout each phase of construction; identify issues early and implement corrective actions promptly. Collaborate effectively with project managers, architects, electricians, plumbers, and other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials; ensure all equipment is properly maintained and stored after use. Experience Proven experience in residential carpentry or commercial construction environments with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Extensive knowledge of construction estimating processes and ability to interpret detailed blueprints and technical schematics. Hands-on experience working with wood construction materials such as framing lumber, plywood, MDF, trim boards, and specialty woods. Familiarity with woodworking machines including CNC routers or saws used for fabrication purposes. Skilled in installing drywall (including taping), flooring (tile or hardwood), siding (vinyl or metal), roofing components, doors/hardware, cabinetry & fixture installation. Experience in restoration industry projects such as water damage remediation or mold remediation is a plus. Knowledge of electrical wiring basics related to fixture installation or electrical components is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail; comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces when required. Pay:
