In this role, you will be responsible for crafting, installing, and finishing interior and exterior trim components that enhance the aesthetic and functional quality of residential and commercial projects. Your expertise in carpentry, blueprint reading, and working with various woodworking materials will ensure precise craftsmanship and adherence to project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality remodeling, restoration, and new construction projects while honing your skills in a fast-paced environment. Duties Interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprints to accurately measure and cut trim components. Install interior trim such as baseboards, crown molding, door casings, window trims, wainscoting, and custom millwork with precision. Work with hand tools and power tools for woodworking to shape and assemble trim pieces efficiently. Ensure all installations meet safety standards by following proper power tool safety protocols. Collaborate with project managers and other trades to coordinate work sequences on construction sites. Assist with related tasks such as framing, , door hanging, , or minor repairs as needed. Skills Proficiency in reading blueprints and interpreting technical drawings related to trim carpentry and construction plans. Strong knowledge of wood construction materials including moldings, panels, rebar installation for framing support, stucco application, and water damage restoration techniques. Experience working on residential construction sites with a focus on trim carpentry and interior finishing projects. Skilled in using hand tools (saws, chisels, hammers) and power tools (cordless drills, saws for woodworking) safely and effectively. Ability to operate woodworking machines such as planers or sanders for precise material shaping. Familiarity, fixture installation, door hanging, heavy lifting Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces; attention to detail is essential for quality craftsmanship.
