Job Description

Overview We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to spearhead our construction and restoration projects, ensuring top-tier craftsmanship and seamless project execution. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a crew , manage complex tasks, and deliver exceptional results across diverse construction and restoration projects. This role also offers job based commissions in addition to your hourly rate. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in carpentry, and site management, combined with a passion for quality and safety. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate all phases of daily tasks and small projects. Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, to ensure precision work. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide project execution. Able to work independently without supervision and lead a crew. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry standards while managing heavy lifting and working in challenging environments. Coordinate with clients and managers to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship. Maintain detailed documentation of project progress, materials used, and safety compliance records. Experience Two (2) years experience in leading a construction crew with a focus on restoration or residential projects. Extensive hands on experience with carpentry disciplines including trim carpentry, framing (metal stud and wood), roofing, siding, cabinetry, door hanging, and fixture installation. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings related to construction projects. Familiarity with concrete forming techniques, masonry work, plastering methods, water damage restoration processes, mold remediation procedures, and plumbing/electrical systems. Skilled in using hand tools such as caulking guns and power tools for various fabrication tasks. Ability to lift at minimum 100 lbs.
