Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of carpentry tasks on residential and commercial projects, ensuring precision, safety, and quality at every stage. Your expertise in interpreting construction plans, handling various hand and power tools, and working efficiently on-site will be vital to delivering exceptional results. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse projects, from framing and drywall installation to cabinetry and restoration work, all while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Responsibilities Read and interpret detailed construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute carpentry tasks. Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and other building materials using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machines. Perform framing, drywall installation, siding, flooring, tile laying, and trim carpentry with precision. Install fixtures such as cabinets, doors, moldings, and other custom woodwork components. Conduct restoration projects including water damage repair, mold remediation, plastering, and rebar installation. Ensure all work complies with safety standards by practicing proper power tool safety procedures and using personal protective equipment. Collaborate with project managers and other trades to complete projects on time while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship. Requirements Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, framing carpentry, drywall installation, and remodeling projects. Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels; power tools for woodworking including drills and sanders; woodworking machines; CNC equipment; metal stud framing tools; tile cutters; plastering tools; caulking guns; rebar benders; and masonry tools. Strong understanding of construction plans and technical drawings for residential carpentry projects. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on various job sites. Knowledge of water damage restoration techniques, siding installation, fixture mounting, cabinet assembly & installation, door hanging, flooring installation, tile laying, and metal stud framing. Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety protocols related to power tools and heavy machinery. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail in fabrication and finishing work. Valid experience in the restoration industry or remodeling projects is preferred but not required. $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
