Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated carpenter with at least 3 years of work experience to join our growing residential construction company. The ideal candidate would have a firm understanding of general carpentry, be proficient in both framing and finish work, as well as areas in between, skilled in the use of all common carpentry tools, and knowledgeable in construction math and formulas. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from small to big, exterior and interior, and general remodeling and repair projects. Responsibilities Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently across various tasks Conduct framing and trim carpentry required for project completion Engage in carpentry, woodworking, and restoration projects with craftsmanship and safety consciousness Participate in the use of ladders, scaffolding, or other equipment Ensure quality, cleanliness, and respect on all job sites Be willing to work on a variety of residential projects Requirements Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and safety protocols on construction sites Ability to take direction, give direction, and be responsible for a productive site Experience with framing carpentry—including woodworking and trim carpentry—siding (all types), deck construction, proper installation of doors and windows Experience with kitchen and bath remodels Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces as needed, manual labor Ability to lift heavy tools, equipment, and materials (exceeding 100 pounds) Excellent teamwork skills combined with strong attention to detail and safety standards Valid experience in construction site environments with a focus on restoration or remodeling projects is preferred.
