Job Description

Overview We are seeking a versatile and skilled All Around Carpenter to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive in a hands-on environment, enjoy working on diverse projects, and possess a passion for craftsmanship. As an integral part of our crew, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of carpentry tasks across residential and commercial sites, ensuring high-quality workmanship and safety standards. This position is perfect for motivated professionals eager to grow their skills in a fast-paced, supportive setting. There will be all different tradework done and you will be cross-trained in the other trades of construction. Need to be able to pass a security clearance when for certain jobs. Duties Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects. Perform framing, drywall installation, and finishing work with precision using hand tools and power tools. Install doors, windows, siding, trim, cabinetry, and fixtures to meet project specifications. Handle wood construction materials including framing lumber, plywood, and specialty woods for various applications. Conduct concrete forming, rebar installation, plastering, stucco application, and masonry work as needed. Operate woodworking machines safely for tasks such as cutting, shaping, and assembling wood components. Assist with remodeling projects by performing flooring installation, tile laying, caulking, mold remediation, and restoration work. Ensure adherence to safety protocols related to power tool use, heavy lifting, and construction site procedures. Collaborate with team members to interpret construction plans and coordinate tasks efficiently on-site. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Training in plumbing, electrical and HVAC trades provided. Qualifications Proven experience in construction or carpentry with a strong foundation in residential projects. Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings accurately. Skilled in the use of hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels, and measuring devices. Familiarity with power tools used for woodworking including drills, saws, sanders, and nail guns. Knowledge of woodworking machines. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on various job sites. Experience with drywall installation, finishing techniques, siding installation, and fixture mounting is highly desirable. Understanding of construction estimating processes and material takeoffs is a plus. Strong attention to detail combined with excellent problem-solving skills. Pay:
$15.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
