Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Carpenter/Remodeler to oversee residential renovation projects from start to finish. In this dynamic role, you will lead a team of carpenters and craftsmen, ensuring that all remodeling tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. Your expertise in carpentry, remodeling techniques, and construction plans will drive successful project outcomes while maintaining excellent client satisfaction. Responsibilities Lead and supervise carpentry crews on residential remodeling projects, ensuring safety protocols and quality standards are met. Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications. Perform a wide range of carpentry tasks including framing, trim work, cabinet installation, siding, flooring, tile laying, and fixture installation. Operate hand tools, power tools for woodworking, woodworking machines, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Manage construction site activities such as concrete installation, roofing and window installation amongst various other task Estimate project materials and labor needs accurately; assist with construction estimating when required. Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion. Skills Extensive experience in residential carpentry and remodeling with a strong background in construction projects. Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings for precise execution of plans. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools for woodworking, woodworking machines, and construction equipment safely. Knowledge of construction materials including wood construction materials, siding materials, metal studs, concrete and roofing. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex tasks. Familiarity with construction estimating processes and managing project budgets effectively. Strong understanding of power tool safety standards and best practices for maintaining a safe work environment. Experience with restoration industry procedures such as mold remediation or structural repairs is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and adapt to on-site challenges quickly. Pay:
$26.50 - $36.00 per hour
