Job Description

Framing Carpenter Crowell Construction Bridgton, ME (Western Maine Lakes Region) About the Role Crowell Construction builds high-end custom homes throughout the western Maine lakes region (Kezar, Long, Highland, Brandy Pond, Keewaydin). We're looking for an experienced Framing Carpenter to join our crew, working under our framing lead on new-build custom homes. Responsibilities Frame walls, floors, roofs, and structural systems per plans and specs Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings accurately Install sheathing, sub-flooring, and structural components Work safely and efficiently as part of a small, skilled crew Maintain quality standards expected on high-end custom builds Coordinate with framing lead and other trades on site Keep job sites clean, organized, and safety-compliant Qualifications 2+ years of residential framing experience (custom home experience a plus) Ability to read blueprints and work from plans Proficient with framing tools (nail guns, saws, levels, etc.) Physically able to lift 50+ lbs, work at heights, and handle outdoor conditions Reliable transportation to job sites in the lakes region Valid driver's license Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail Team player who takes pride in quality craftsmanship What We Offer Steady, year-round work with a growing local company Opportunity to work on high-end custom homes Supportive, experienced crew and leadership
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
