This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead residential carpentry projects, oversee skilled craftsmanship, and ensure the successful completion of high-quality renovations and new builds. As a Lead Carpenter, you will coordinate with project managers, interpret construction plans, and mentor junior team members to uphold safety standards and craftsmanship excellence. Your expertise will directly contribute to transforming spaces and exceeding client expectations in a fast-paced, energetic environment. Duties Lead and supervise carpentry crews on residential construction and remodeling projects, ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and to specifications Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to guide project execution Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood framing, trim, doors, fixtures, stucco, caulking, rebar, metal studs, and other wood construction materials with precision Operate hand tools and power tools for woodworking safely while maintaining equipment in optimal condition Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for framing, restoration work, plastering, rebar installation, and remodeling activities Ensure adherence to safety protocols including power tool safety standards and proper handling of woodworking machines Collaborate with project managers to estimate materials needed using construction estimating techniques; manage material procurement on-site Mentor apprentices or less experienced carpenters in proper techniques for framing, door hanging, fixture installation, and general carpentry skills Maintain a clean and organized work site; coordinate with other trades such as drywall installers or plasterers for seamless project flow Requirements Proven experience in residential carpentry or related construction fields with a strong background in framing, restoration industry projects or remodeling Skilled in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings accurately Proficient with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, woodworking machines, metal stud framing equipment and other construction tools Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical endurance for demanding tasks Experience in installation of doors and windows Join us if you're passionate about craftsmanship excellence and eager to lead impactful residential projects.
