Position Summary The Finish Carpenter Technician is responsible for the construction, maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of custom trailers, mobile exhibits, event displays, and facility-related projects. This hands-on role requires experience in carpentry, general construction, facility maintenance, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, works independently, and is comfortable supporting a fast-paced experiential marketing environment. Key Responsibilities Carpentry & Fabrication Build, modify, and repair custom interior and exterior trailer components. Construct display elements, shelving, cabinetry, stages, and exhibit structures. Install flooring, wall panels, trim, doors, hardware, and other finish materials. Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and project specifications. Maintenance & Repairs Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mobile tour assets. Repair structural, cosmetic, and mechanical components of trailers and event equipment. Troubleshoot issues involving fixtures, hardware, flooring, cabinetry, and exhibit systems. Complete touch-up work, painting, patching, and refinishing as needed. Facility Support Perform general building maintenance and repairs. Assist with warehouse organization and inventory management. Operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely and effectively. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Required Qualifications Experience in carpentry, construction, handyman services, fabrication, or related trades. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and repair techniques. Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently. Experience with painting, drywall, flooring, and finish carpentry. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in a physically demanding environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience working on trailers, mobile exhibits, RVs, food trucks, or specialty vehicles. Welding, electrical, or mechanical experience. Forklift certification. Experience supporting trade shows, events, or experiential marketing programs. Knowledge of fabrication and custom build processes. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods. Ability to safely use ladders and shop equipment. Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
