Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fireplace Installer / Rough Framer / Finish Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical troubleshooting and installation, framing, carpentry, finish work, drywall mudding & taping, painting, and cultured stone or brick, with expertise in various trades. As a Fireplace Installer / Rough Framer / Finish Carpenter, you will be responsible for the installation and service of fireplaces along with general carpentry and framing in residential settings, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities Install and service fireplaces according to manufacturer specifications and local building codes. Complete general carpentry, framing, and finish work Run gas lines & electrical connections Use a phone/email to communicate with tech departments for troubleshooting and installation purposes. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various installation tasks. Perform mechanical and electrical work as needed during the installation process. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, masons, and electricians, to complete projects efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the project duration. Speak with customers ensuring they understand what is being done and how it is being done in a polite manner. Experience Proven experience in construction and gas lines/gas appliances or a related field is essential. Familiarity with estimation and inspection processes is highly desirable. Proficiency in understanding of construction schematics is required.
