Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter to join our construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining structures and fixtures using a variety of hand and power tools. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of projects Measure dimensions accurately using tape measures, rulers, and other tools to ensure precise cuts and fits Frame walls, floors, ceilings, and other structures using wood or metal studs in accordance with specifications Install drywall, trim carpentry, stucco finishes, and other interior or exterior surfaces with attention to detail Erect metal buildings and perform metal stud framing with efficiency and safety in mind Conduct concrete forming, rebar installation, and concrete finishing to support foundational work Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as cutting, shaping, drilling, welding, and fastening materials Assist with masonry work including plastering and restoration projects as needed Follow safety protocols consistently while performing heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces Collaborate with construction management teams to interpret technical drawings and ensure project specifications are met Skills Extensive construction site experience with a strong understanding of safety standards Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings or schematics Skilled in metal building erection, concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry, welding, and drywall finishing Expertise in framing carpentry—including woodwork such as trim carpentry and dimensional measurements—plus metal stud framing Familiarity with the use of hand tools (hammers, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws) for various construction tasks Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper form to prevent injury Knowledge of construction management principles to coordinate tasks effectively on-site Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations during project planning Experience with restoration or remodeling projects that require precision craftsmanship Join our team if you're ready to build something meaningful!
