Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality carpentry building quality custom homes ensuring that all structures are built to precise specifications and safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of diverse projects, from framing and drywall installation to finish carpentry and restoration work. Duties Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project requirements. Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and other building materials using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machines. Perform framing, drywall installation, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, door hanging, siding, roofing, and flooring tasks with precision. Assist with concrete forming and rebar installation as needed. Conduct site inspections to ensure safety compliance; perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining a clean work environment. Follow construction estimating procedures to assist in project planning; interpret construction plans accurately for efficient workflow. Ensure power tool safety protocols are adhered to at all times; maintain tools and equipment in excellent condition. Skills Extensive experience in construction and interpreting technical drawings. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding construction plans across various disciplines. Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels alongside power tools for woodworking and framing. Knowledge of woodworking machines including saws, planers, routers for precise fabrication. Strong background in residential carpentry including trim work, fixture installation, door hanging, siding, roofing, flooring installation and tile laying. Experience with concrete forming processes and rebar installation for foundational work. Understanding of construction site safety standards including power tool safety practices; ability to lift heavy materials safely. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality craftsmanship; adaptable team player committed to safety standards. Pay:
