Job Description
The Carpenter is responsible for performing a wide range of rough and finish carpentry tasks on residential construction and renovation projects. This role requires exceptional craftsmanship, strong teamwork, attention to detail, while proactively identifying and resolving field issues. The Carpenter plays a critical role in ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. Success in this role requires a commitment to excellence, accountability, and continuous communication. The Carpenter is expected to take ownership of their work, anticipate challenges before they arise, and consistently deliver craftsmanship that reflects the quality and reputation of the company. Responsibilities Seeking an experienced carpenter and home renovation professional skilled in both rough and finish carpentry. Responsibilities include framing, drywall, spackle, taping, sanding, interior and exterior painting, flooring, doors, cabinets, tile, decks, fences, trim, crown molding, kitchen and bathroom renovations. Quality Control Review construct, specifications, and field conditions prior to beginning work to identify discrepancies or conflicts. Coordinate with the Lead Carpenter to resolve issues before installation and/or confirm scope of work. Identify and correct deficiencies before they impact downstream trades or project schedules. Physical Requirements Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment. Experience Minimum 5 years of residential carpentry experience. Strong understanding of framing, finish carpentry, rough carpentry, construction sequencing, and building practices. Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment. Knowledge of residential building codes and safety requirements. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
