Job Description

Morgan's Constructive Solutions, LLC (DBA Sandia Mountain Solar) is a fully licensed general, electrical, and mechanical contracting firm, providing comprehensive general construction services and expert solar system solutions, including installation, to residential and commercial clients across the state of New Mexico. Our general construction services include but are not limited to bathroom and kitchen remodeling, decks, siding, doors and windows, flooring installations, civil dirt work, and site layouts. We are looking for a skilled carpenter who would be responsible for the following: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches and to understand project specifications. Take measurements and calculate the sizes and amounts of materials needed for projects. Cut lumber and other materials according to measurements and plans. Build staircases, frame buildings, and other structures by using raw materials or pre-constructed items. Install flooring such as hardwood or tile. Installation of siding, windows, doors and exterior trim. Install cabinets, drywall, and insulation. Inspect products and conduct repairs or maintenance as needed. Comply with all company and governmental safety guidelines. Knowledge and compliance with safety procedures. Participate in staff training and meetings as scheduled. Follow supervisory/administrative directives and instructions.
Requirements:
Valid Drivers License. Construction experience is required with a wide range of experience in the industry preferred. Forty hours per week is standard. Overtime is rare but may happen. Per diem for out-of-town work. Paid time off and holiday pay. When necessary, travel throughout the state for out-of-town work.
Compensation:
$24+ to start BOE. PTO, Holiday Pay, and 401K.
