Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in kitchen and bathroom remodeling, interior renovations, finish carpentry, and related residential construction. We are a small, family-owned and operated high-end kitchen and bathroom remodeling company that also installs Four Seasons sunrooms. Our owner is hands-on and works alongside the crew every day as the foreman and lead carpenter. Compensation is competitive and based on experience. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check conducted after a conditional offer of employment is made. Because this position involves working in customers' homes, relevant criminal history may be considered in accordance with applicable law. Duties Conduct carpentry work including trim, framing, drywall installation, flooring, tiling, cabinet installation, cabinet building/assembly, and woodwork finishing Read blueprints and schematics accurately Skills Experience in cabinet and molding installation Experience in cabinet assembly and/or building Experience in installation of different types of flooring Experience in installation of tile (floor and wall) Experience in woodworking and trim carpentry Competence in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate project execution Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment usage Knowledge of residential remodeling/renovation work Ability to perform heavy lifting safely Access to your own vehicle, a clean license, and auto insurance This role is ideal for someone eager to contribute their skills across diverse projects without handholding or babysitting.
