We're seeking experienced carpenters who are fluent in both English and Spanish to help us with our projects. Our Servpro franchise specializes in the cleanup and restoration of residential and commercial property after a fire, smoke, or water damage. This is an excellent ground-floor opportunity for a hard-working individual who is interested in helping commercial and residential customers recover from damage restoration situations.

Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints to frame structures and install fixtures (doors, windows, cabinetry). Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, drywall, and other building materials with precision. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and local building codes while maintaining a clean job site.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Carpenter with a strong working knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods. Fluent in both English and Spanish for effective communication with supervisors and crew members. Excellent physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials, along with reliable transportation to job sites in Yonkers and Queens. Valid drivers license required Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics) Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals We provide a company vehicle to and from the job site and a company iPhone.
