As a Carpenter, you'll play an important role in creating and maintaining a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and caregivers. This position responds to a variety of carpentry work orders and preventive maintenance needs throughout the hospital. Responsibilities include maintaining and repairing fire doors, rolling doors, and other building components while helping ensure our facilities remain safe, reliable, and operating efficiently. As part of an experienced, collaborative team, you'll work alongside skilled lead technicians and knowledgeable colleagues who value teamwork, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning. A caregiver in this position works 3rd shift 10:30pm - 7:00am. A caregiver who excels in this role will: Construct, erect, install and repair building structures, cabinetry, doors and hardware, flooring, ceilings and walls. Maintain and repair existing structures and fixtures. Install, maintain and repair casework, cabinets, countertops, floorings, walls, ceiling, masonry, doors and door hardware. Perform structural remodeling, construction and demolition. Perform regular inspections and repair of fire and smoke doors. Work across multiple Cleveland Clinic locations as needed. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: A High School Diploma or GED 3 years of carpentry experience Can read and comprehend blueprints/AutoCAD and use of power tools Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Certificate of an approved carpentry apprenticeship program or trade school

Pay Range Minimum hourly:

$25.13 Maximum hourly: $38.33 The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set and education.
