Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of carpentry tasks, like wood and metal framing, drywall, installation of acoustical ceiling tile systems, etc. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of construction projects, ensuring they meet quality standards, safety regulations, and project specifications. Responsibilities Interpret and follow detailed construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute carpentry tasks. Construct, install, repair, and remodel structures using various hand tools and power tools with precision. Perform framing work for walls, floors, ceilings, and metal stud framing for commercial or residential building. Execute trim carpentry, drywall installation, and drywall finishing as needed. Conduct measurements using tape measures and other tools to ensure dimensional accuracy; interpret construction plans effectively. Support remodeling projects by installing doors, windows, cabinetry, and other interior finishes. Engage in heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely while maintaining a focus on safety protocols. Collaborate with construction management teams to adhere to schedules and quality standards throughout project phases. Experience Proven experience in construction environments with a strong background in carpentry tasks such as framing, drywall installation, and trim work. Skilled in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings accurately. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and other essential construction equipment. Knowledge of construction plans related to metal stud framing and remodeling projects. Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations confidently. Prior site experience working on commercial or residential construction projects is preferred.
