Home Renovations TechnicianOverview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Home Renovations Technician to join our team in Dublin, Ohio. This role involves working on a variety of home renovation projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and delivering excellent results for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a diverse skill set in construction and renovation, with a strong focus on carpentry, problem-solving, and attention to detail. Duties Perform home renovation projects from start to finish while meeting project timelines and quality standards. Work with clients and team members to understand project requirements and deliver quality results. Perform carpentry tasks, including framing, door hanging, drywall repair, painting, cabinet installation, flooring, plumbing, minor electrical repairs, and custom fabrication as needed. Perform caulking and sealing to ensure durability and weather resistance. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following all applicable safety regulations. Identify and resolve common construction and renovation issues efficiently. Ensure all work meets company standards for quality, professionalism, and craftsmanship. Interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and specifications to accurately execute renovation projects. Perform building material installation, including drywall, stucco, plastering, caulking, and trim carpentry. Install windows, doors, flooring, cabinets, and tiles with precision and attention to detail. Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and specialized machinery safely and effectively on outdoor and indoor projects. Conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications. Manage remodeling tasks such as electrical wiring, plumbing systems, and HVAC components as needed. Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks like hardscaping construction projects and outdoor work. Interpret construction plans and blueprints using Bluebeam or similar software for accurate project execution. Maintain a clean and organized worksite while adhering strictly to safety protocols at all times. Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project milestones are met on schedule. Experience Previous experience in home renovations or residential construction is preferred. Strong carpentry skills and the ability to complete a variety of renovation tasks. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely is an advantage but not required.
