Job Description

Coastal Restoration is looking for a skilled, dependable Carpenter to join our team. At Coastal Restoration, our team works on a wide variety of projects including structural repairs, reconstruction, remodeling, and restoration work. Position Overview The Carpenter is responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and restoring a variety of residential and commercial building components. This is a hands-on role that requires strong carpentry skills, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a team-first attitude. Responsibilities Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, and other building materials Perform rough and finish carpentry on reconstruction, restoration, and remodeling projects Install windows, doors, cabinets, trim, stairs, siding, and other finish elements Inspect and repair damaged structures and building components Read and interpret blueprints, scopes of work, and project specifications Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Communicate and collaborate with project managers, foremen, and team members Help ensure projects are completed with quality workmanship, on time, and in line with company standards Represent Coastal Restoration professionally on jobsites and with customers Qualifications Experience in carpentry, construction, or restoration work Proficiency with common hand tools and power tools Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong understanding of rough carpentry, finish carpentry, and general construction methods Ability to read plans and follow job specifications Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail Knowledge of water damage restoration, mold remediation, or repair work is a plus Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems is helpful Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Ability to perform physical work in a variety of jobsite conditions What We're Looking For A positive attitude and strong work ethic Someone who takes pride in quality craftsmanship A team player who is willing to step up and help where needed A professional who communicates well and treats customers with respect Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging, and supportive environment Why Join Coastal Restoration?
