Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking motivated and skilled Carpenter/Helpers to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will assist with a variety of carpentry and construction tasks, supporting the creation, installation, and restoration of residential and commercial structures. Responsibilities Assist lead carpenters with constructing, installing, repairing, and finishing structures according to construction plans and technical drawings Operate hand tools and power tools for woodworking, framing, siding, drywall installation, fixture hanging, and trim carpentry Read blueprints and technical drawings accurately to interpret project requirements and specifications Perform heavy lifting of materials such as wood construction materials, rebar, siding panels, and drywall sheets safely and efficiently Support the installation of doors, windows, flooring, stucco, siding, and other fixtures ensuring precise fit and finish Participate in rebar installation, water damage restoration tasks, mold remediation efforts, and plastering projects as needed Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to power tool safety protocols and proper handling of woodworking machines Assist with demolition, remodeling projects, water damage restoration tasks, and general handyman duties on-site Contribute to quality control by inspecting work for accuracy and compliance with safety standards Support site cleanup activities to ensure a tidy and organized workspace throughout all phases of construction Experience Previous construction experience is highly preferred; familiarity with residential carpentry projects is a plus Hands-on experience with blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings is essential for success in this role Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, saws, chisels, levels; knowledge of power tools including drills, saws, sanders for woodworking is required Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of safety procedures related to power tool use and heavy lifting is necessary Familiarity with wood framing techniques including metal stud framing; experience with drywall installation or flooring installation is advantageous Knowledge of the restoration industry including mold remediation or water damage restoration will be considered a strong asset Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail Construction estimating skills are beneficial but not mandatory; willingness to learn about project planning and material calculations is encouraged Join our team today if you're eager to build your career in construction!
