If you enjoy turning a homeowner's plans into a well-finished bathroom, kitchen, basement, or other remodeling project, we would like to hear from you. We value practical skills, sound judgment, and doing work you can be proud to put your name on. All of our work is within one hour of our shop. This is not an entry-level position. Applicants must have at least 5 years of remodeling experience. Pay and skill requirements $30-$50 per hour, based on demonstrated skills and the level of responsibility you can handle. At the starting end of the range ($30/hour), you must be proficient in at least 3 of these areas: framing, tile work, flooring installation, drywall finishing, painting, light plumbing, light electrical work, cabinet installation, trim work, and problem-solving. For top pay ($50/hour), you must be able to run a remodeling job and have the skills to complete bathrooms, kitchens, basements, and similar projects. What we're looking for At least 5 years of remodeling experience and proficiency in at least 3 of the listed skill areas. Quality workmanship, dependability, attention to detail, and practical problem-solving. Ability to speak and understand English well enough to communicate clearly with customers and crew members and follow job and safety instructions. Safe tool use, an organized work area, and work that follows project plans and applicable building codes. Commitment to a drug-free work environment.
