About the Position Kees Construction & Remodeling, LLC is seeking a highly experienced, dependable, and motivated Lead Carpenter / Remodeling Field Supervisor to oversee and execute residential renovation projects. We specialize in kitchen and bathroom renovations, window and door replacements, interior remodeling, and general residential construction. We are looking for an experienced remodeling professional who can take ownership of projects in the field, work independently, solve problems, maintain high-quality workmanship, and help lead our company's construction operations. This is a hands-on leadership style position, not an entry-level carpentry role. The ideal candidate must be capable of both performing skilled construction work and managing the day-to-day execution of residential remodeling projects. Primary Responsibilities Lead and perform residential renovation projects from demolition through final completion. Complete kitchen and bathroom renovations, including cabinet installation, vanities, flooring, trim, and related carpentry. Install and replace residential windows, exterior doors, and interior doors. Perform framing, drywall installation, finish carpentry, trim, and other general remodeling tasks. Independently evaluate job-site conditions and develop practical solutions to construction challenges. Plan daily work activities, identify material needs, and maintain project efficiency. Coordinate job-site activities with subcontractors and other trades. Maintain quality control and ensure projects meet company workmanship standards. Communicate project progress, material requirements, and unexpected issues to company ownership. Maintain safe, clean, and organized job sites. Professionally interact with homeowners and represent the company. Supervise and train additional employees or helpers as the company grows. Work toward completing projects within established schedules and budgets. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of professional residential remodeling or carpentry experience; substantial lead-level experience strongly preferred. Extensive knowledge of residential construction methods and renovation practices. Strong experience with kitchen and bathroom remodeling. Proficiency in window and door installation, framing, flooring, cabinet installation, and finish carpentry. Ability to manage projects independently with minimal supervision. Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to accurately measure, plan, and execute construction work. Must have reliable personal transportation to and from job sites. Must own essential hand tools and power tools necessary for residential remodeling work. Ability to perform physically demanding construction work. Professional attitude, strong work ethic, and dependable attendance. Ability to communicate effectively with customers, subcontractors, and company ownership.
