The Blatt Group is a family-owned general contractor that has served Berks County for more than 35 years. We are hiring a Commercial Carpenter for commercial construction and renovation projects in the Reading area, with responsibilities that include excavation and concrete work.

Pay:

$60,000-$85,000 per year, based on experience and skills. What you will do Frame and build commercial spaces, including interior build-outs, doors, trim, and custom woodwork. Read plans, measure and lay out work, and install materials with attention to quality and safety. Operate an excavator and perform excavation, site preparation, and backfilling. Complete concrete preparation, forming, placement, and finishing. Handle selective demolition and varied carpentry tasks as projects require. Coordinate with the crew to keep work moving and jobsites organized. What you bring At least five years of carpentry experience, or equivalent trade education and hands-on experience. Experience with commercial construction, common carpentry tools, and reading plans. Excavator operation and concrete work experience. Your own standard tools and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record for company vehicle use. Ability to work safely at heights and in confined spaces and pass a pre-employment drug screen. Dependability, attention to detail, and a team-first approach.
