GMS Construction is now offering Retention & Referral Bonuses up to $1,000! GMS Construction is actively seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenters to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, construction, and/or painting. To gain consideration for this role, candidates must be able to pass all GMS pre-employment requirements including a background check and a hair follicle drug test. Also, while these positions are based out of the Morgantown area, successful candidates will be asked to travel on a fairly regular basis. Duties include but are not limited to: Construction of new and remodeled homes Carpentry and construction of new and existing homes Painting and drywall, as well as other interior finishing skills Install, repair, or maintain interior finishings such as doors, windows, moldings, etc. Install, repair, or maintain exterior finishings such as siding, windows, etc. Perform all other duties as assigned.

Skills Required:

Proven experience as carpenter or similar role (3+ years experience required) Hands-on experience in carpentry, painting, drywall, masonry or stone work, and or woodworking. Ability to use power tools (e.g., saws) and various power tools (e.g., drills) Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
