Job Description
We're hiring a carpenter's assistant to support our carpenter building custom crates. Good entry point if you want to learn carpentry on the job. What you'll do:
- Assist with measuring, cutting, and assembling custom crates
- Carry and load lumber, keep the work area clean and organized
- Help with pallet repair and general yard work as needed
- Learn carpentry skills — skill saw, nail gun, speed square — as you go What we're looking for:
- Willing to learn and work hard — no carpentry experience required
- Able to do physical work all day: lifting, carrying lumber, standing
- Reliable — show up on time, do good work
- Own transportation to our yard in Mullins, SC Pay & schedule:
- $12•16/hour depending on experience, paid weekly•Full-time or part-time — we're flexible•Full-time schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm, Friday 7:30am-1:30pm (early out Friday)•Start as soon as you're ready
