Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Interior Trim Carpenter Helper to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will assist experienced carpenters in installing, finishing, and repairing interior trim elements such as moldings, baseboards, door casings, and cabinetry in residential settings. Your enthusiasm for craftsmanship and eagerness to learn will contribute to delivering high-quality results on every project. This position offers a great opportunity to develop your skills in carpentry and woodworking while working on diverse remodeling and restoration projects. Responsibilities Support senior carpenters in measuring, cutting, and installing interior trim components according to construction plans and specifications Operate hand tools and power tools for woodworking safely and efficiently, including saws, drills, sanders, and nail guns Prepare work areas by cleaning surfaces, setting up scaffolding or ladders, and organizing materials for smooth workflow Follow safety protocols related to power tool operation, heavy lifting, and working at heights on construction sites Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards Requirements Prior construction or carpentry experience preferred; familiarity with residential carpentry is a plus Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, chisels, screwdrivers, and measuring tapes; experience with power tools for woodworking is highly desirable Understanding of power tool safety practices and proper handling techniques Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at various heights on ladders or scaffolding Experience with remodeling projects or restoration industry work is advantageous but not required Join us to build a rewarding career in interior trim carpentry!
